Digital Library North Demonstrations - Tuktoyaktuk

Friday, May 19, 2017
Kitti Hall, Tuktoyaktuk

Members of the Digital Library North research team will be travelling to all Inuvialuit Settlement Region communities over the next two weeks to provide community members with the opportunity to view the digital library before it is publicly released online.

Digital Library North is a collaborative project between Inuvialuit Cultural Resource Centre (ICRC) and researchers and librarians from the University of Alberta. The library contains a sample of ICRC's resources including: language lessons in three Inuvialuktun dialects, books in the three dialects, photo collections, videos, and audio files.

Date: Friday, May 19
Time: 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Kitti Hall

NOTE: The digital library that will be shown during these community visits is not accessible online. A small amount of work remains before the website can be launched. Once IRC has the specific date, an announcement will be made.
