Inuvialuit Land Administration (ILA), a division of Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC), invites applications for the position of Gravel Checker – Casual.
Based in Ulukhaktok, NT, and under the direction of the Environmental Monitor Coordinator, the primary responsibility is to collect and track how much gravel is being extracted from gravel sources on Inuvialuit Private Lands. The incumbent must keep a detailed record of daily activities, special projects and other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess numeracy and literacy skills, including the ability to complete work order forms, an understanding of workplace safety, prioritize effectively, provide attention to detail, work flexible schedules, including 12 hour shift work, and the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. The candidate must adhere to all safety regulations including the use of PPE while on the job sites.
Priority consideration will be given to beneficiaries of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement.
