Duane Smith has been re-elected Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Inuvialuit Regional Corporation. The 42 Directors of the Community Corporations of Aklavik, Inuvik, Paulatuk, Sachs Harbour, Tuktoyaktuk, and Ulukhaktok were entitled to vote.
For the first time, IRC will livestream the All Candidate Forum.
The livestream will begin Monday, January 28 at 9:00am with the support of Inuvialuit Communications Society. The livestream will be found on the 2019 IRC Chair Election Facebook page.
The 2019 IRC Chair Election will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29th in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, at the Midnight Sun Complex. The 42 Directors of the Community Corporations of Aklavik, Inuvik, Paulatuk, Sachs Harbour, Tuktoyaktuk, and Ulukhaktok are entitled to vote.
