IRC Christmas Card Art Contest: And The Winner Is ...

Christmas cards representing a Northern/Inuvialuit Christmas

It's now official! After a full day of voting, the three winners of the 2017 Inuvialuit Regional Corporation Christmas Card Art Contest have been selected.

This contest was open to all students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 living in Canada. Artwork had to be hand drawn and colourful. All participants were asked to submit artwork that showcased what a Northern-themed (or Inuvialuit) Christmas meant to them.

IRC would like to thank everyone who submitted an entry into this contest. All of the entries were well done, thought out, and many received votes from our team of judges. But, in the end, the following three artists were selected as winners:

3rd Place - Jewel Lennie
  • Winner of a $100 VISA gift card
2nd Place - Jordanna Ruben
  • Winner of a $150 VISA gift card
1st Place - Dylan Jacobson
  • Winner of a $300 VISA gift card and will have their artwork displayed on the IRC corporate Christmas card this year

Honourable mentions go to Reese Wainman, Paige Loreen, and Alexandria Testart.

If you are the parent or guardian of one of the two prize winners, please send us an email or call (867) 777-7055 to arrange pick-up of their prize.
