IRC Co-Sponsoring Indigenous Tools For Living Program In Inuvik

Indigenous Tools For Living

Alongside NWT Recreation and Parks Association, Inuvialuit Regional Corporation is sponsoring a three-day Indigenous Tools For Living program in Inuvik.

It will take place March 27, 28, and 29.

This program will introduce an Indigenous approach to Focusing Oriented Therapy (a body-centred and person-centred approach to healing). It is geared toward frontline workers, to help them work with complex trauma without experiencing burnout.

There is no cost to attend this program. It is FREE for those who are interested.

No clinical training or background necessary.

The program will run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will take place in the Permafrost Room at the Mackenzie Hotel.

Facilitated by: Aboriginal Focusing Oriented Therapy Instructors
