LJ's Contracting Repeats as Champion of IRC Native Hockey Tournament

LJ's Contracting celebrates with the trophy at the IRC Native Hockey Tournament

The Roy "Sugloo" Ipana Arena was packed this past weekend with hockey fans and players in Inuvik for the 2017 IRC Native Hockey Tournament. Wow, what a great time!

In the A Division, defending champion LJ's Contracting came out on top once again. They played K&D Outlaws in the final. Third place went to Tuk Bulldogs.

Individual award winners in the A Division were:

Most Valuable Player - Kirk Sangris

Top Goalie - Jordan Nightraveler

Top Scorer - Sean Portias

AK Knights came in first in the B Division, getting the better of Gwich'in Flames in the final. NDN Army finished in third place.

Most Valuable Player - AJ Charlie

Top Goalie - Kenny Semmler

Top Scorer - Cody Greenland
