Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) recognizes the importance of Prenatal and Early Childhood programs which provide the foundation in raising healthy and confident children to strengthen the communities in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region. At the same time, Inuvialuit culture, language and traditions are passed onto the future generations.
Goals and Objectives
- Respect and support families in their task of nurturing children
- Increase child and family awareness of health practices
- Offer nutrition to the children and family
- Ensure the childcare programs are based on current knowledge of child development and early childhood education
