Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant - Casual – Inuvik

Reporting to the Manager of Administration, the Casual Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative and reception duties for the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) and the Inuvialuit Development Corporation (IDC), including but not limited to, telephone and walk-in reception, accepting payments, mail distribution, and filing.

The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education, experience, and knowledge:

  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Provide administrative support to all IRC/IDC staff as requested in a confidential manner.
  • Maintains a detailed & organized electronic filing system for all correspondence.
  • Checks stock levels weekly and orders supplies requested by other personnel.
  • Maintains a detailed & organized electronic filing system for all correspondence.
  • Provides passport services to beneficiaries i.e., passport photos.
  • Customer service orientation.
