Nanilavut Support Information
Are you searching for a lost loved one from the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR) who was sent away to receive treatment for Tuberculosis? Are you looking for steps you can take to help reduce the spread of Tuberculosis?
The Nanilavut Initiative was designed to help you find your lost loved one. This includes mental health supports to help you and family cope with grief and other feelings experienced while learning of your loved one’s journey. This support is designed to help with your family’s healing and to attempt to get closure from the events that happened during the Tuberculosis Epidemic.
If you have an inquiry or if you are looking for further information or assistance on how to access support services, contact Beverly Lennie, the Nunavut Project Administrator for the Inuvialuit Settlement Region.
