RFP: Economic Measures Review as outlined in Section 16 of the IFA
The Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) is seeking proposals from qualified proponents to complete an Economic Measures Review. The Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA), signed in 1984, contains a series of objectives and obligations relating to Economic Measures as outlined in Section 16 – the focus of this review. The public review completed in the year 2000 found the economic objectives of the IFA have not been met, requiring another like review. An Oversight Committee, comprised of the IRC, Government of Yukon, Government of the Northwest Territories, and the Government of Canada, has been struck to oversee the Economic Measures Review.
