Education, Training and Capacity

Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) is committed to supporting the career development of Inuvialuit beneficiaries through several education and skill enhancement programs through IRC’s Education, Training and Capacity. These initiatives serve a variety of functions with a strong mandate to organize, develop and maintain education and training opportunities for Inuvialuit with a critical focus on skills to sustainable employment.

The Education & Training Department along with other Departments and Divisions of IRC and the Inuvialuit Corporate Group, assists in implementing the objectives of Section 16 of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA): enabling beneficiaries to be equal and meaningful participants in the northern economy.
