Education, Training and Employment

Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) is committed to supporting the career development of Inuvialuit beneficiaries through several education and skill enhancement programs through IRC’s Education & Training Department. These initiatives serve a variety of functions with a strong mandate to organize, develop and maintain education and training opportunities for Inuvialuit with a critical focus on skills to sustainable employment.

The Education & Training Department along with other Departments and Divisions of IRC and the Inuvialuit Corporate Group, assists in implementing the objectives of Section 16 of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA): enabling beneficiaries to be equal and meaningful participants in the northern economy.
